Faith
All you really need for Bible study is a Bible and some time for God. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some items that make it more fun. Here are eight useful tools to make your next Bible study more productive, whether you're doing your own study or meeting with others in your assisted living community as a group.
Faith
At Bethesda Senior Living Communities, we motivate our residents to grow in their daily walk with God by delving into His Word. What does it mean to be a prayer warrior? Simply put, a prayer warrior is an advocate who feels themselves called to the ministry of reconciliation between God and man.
Faith
While many biblical scholars remain unsure of exactly who wrote the epistle to the Hebrews, the power and edification found throughout its themes are undeniable. Written to recent Jewish converts in the church, the letter came at a time when both the Roman empire and Jewish religious leaders were becoming more iron-fisted than ever before.
Community Life & Activities
Springtime and the new life it brings is an excellent source of inspiration for updating your decor in your assisted living apartment. It's also a special time of year for Bethesda Senior Living Communities, our residents and Christians around the world as we celebrate Easter. Below, you can find ideas for fresh and faith-based spring decor to beautify your living space this year.
Faith
Before Jesus’s Ascension back into Heaven following His resurrection, He gives His followers what is called “The Great Commission.” In this Commission, He instructs them to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I’ve commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). This charge from Christ has come to be a trademark passage outlining the crucial role of ministry.
Faith
The Old Testament is part of the Bible we may not often turn to in favor of comforting Psalms or tidbits about Jesus' life in the Gospels. But it has many interesting stories and lessons that we can learn. Whether you're looking for a new topic for your next Bible study at an assisted living community under the Bethesda Senior Living Communities umbrella or just wanting to explore the Old Testament on your own time, Moses and the Israelites is a good place to start.
Whether you’re exploring options for yourself or someone you love, our team is here to listen, answer your questions, and help you feel confident about what comes next. Fill out the form and a Bethesda team member will reach out shortly to help you find the right fit for you or your loved one.
