What Families Ask Us Most

Frequently Asked Questions

Hear From Residents

The Bethesda Experience

“I was living in a facility where I was very unhappy. Called The Gardens and spoke to Brent and got an appointment. Came and was greeted at the door. Everyone was smiling and saying Good Morning etc. I felt very much at ease and did not worry about any questions I wanted to ask. I did not need to think about my decision. Signed right and moved. Not one minute have I had a negative thought. We are all family. Amazing how two facilities can be so different. Wish I had made the move four years ago.”

“Mom loved it there. She said she never imagined she’d live in such a nice place. The staff were amazing. The residents were so friendly. She was so happy there. The Gardens are so clean and have so many activities. When I get that old that’s where I will go. She loved the food, kindness, caring and loving people there. Unfortunately mom only was able to live at The Gardens for a little over 4 1/2 months. She passed away in her little piece of heaven there. While she was in her final stage of life so many staff and residents came to pray with her, give her hugs and were so kind to our family.”

“It's a great place. She loves it there. It was sooo clean, had a lot to do everyday, dining room was set up with real napkins plus good food/lots of choices, indoor pool with classes, newly renovated apartment that had balcony and faced the interior yard, and was middle of the road priced. The staff is super friendly and helpful and there are so many activities to choose from. I would recommend to others.”

“I have been very happy here. The food is great. Every month there is a Menu Meeting where you can discuss likes, dislikes, things you would like to see. Place looks and smells great at all times. Our apartment is cleaned once a week with "deep cleanings" twice a year. Staff is friendly and helpful and provides nursing type care if needed for an extra cost which I think is very reasonable. Lots of activities. The facility has an indoor swimming pool as well as a pool table. There is a movie theater room with theater seats and sound system. In fact there is too much to mention it all. Including rides to the local Symphony when they are playing. Includes rides to/from doctor appointments. Bus trips to local stores. It is a bit pricey to live here but if you make use of everything that is offered it's a good deal.”

– ByHoyle Resident

“It's been wonderful, they are wonderful there and very helpful. My loved one's apartment is comfortable and maintained well. They're very sweet about watching out for him and communicating with us as well as getting back to us. He has friends that he has meals and the neighbors keep an eye out for him for us. What we liked the most about The Gardens was that they have continuing care.”
