Activity Department Happenings
Great things are happening at Bethesda Gardens in Terre Haute.
We welcome aboard Jenny Conner our new Activity Assistant. Jenny brings lots of creativity and energy.
We also welcome Laci Wood who is doing an internship through ISU in Human Development and Family Studies. Laci will complete fieldwork of 150 clock hours with Bethesda Gardens. She will assist with daily activities, as well as lead them herself.
The weather has been extremely mild in Terre Haute and we are definitely looking forward to getting outside, sitting on the porch, and taking our weekly van outings that we all enjoy. Come join us for our spring activities and we’ll all welcome warm weather together.
Chili Supper Benefit at Bethesda Gardens
Bethesda Gardens held a Chili Supper Benefit to help the families of Amber Smith, Korben Moore, Emillee Lenges and Rodney Mayer, who passed away following a tragic automobile/train accident in Clark County, IL. The Chili Supper was well attended and enjoyed by all. The proceeds from the benefit will be given to the Amber Smith & Children’s Fund and the Rodney Mayer Memorial Fund.
Bethesda Gardens Gives Back
All of the Bethesda Communities make donations to local organizations that help seniors. This year, besides our other philanthropic activities, Bethesda Gardens was able to help The Will Center, The Wabash Valley Senior Center and Senior Education Ministries.
