A Night on Blueberry Hill

In February, we had a Blueberry Hill-Themed Valentine’s Day Party. The blue and white decorations were a welcome change for the Residents. Our West Dining Room was decorated complete with a blue and white “circus top” and blueberry balloon chandelier decorations. We had special blueberry lemonade just for the occasion, as well as blue heart-shaped deserts. Keeping us entertained throughout the evening was entertainer J.T. Matthews. A regular entertainer of ours, he pulled out all the stops for the event and finished, of course, with Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Brunch, and a Reveal Party

The next few months are going to be quite exciting! At the beginning of April, we’ll have our annual Easter Party complete with an Easter Egg Hunt, a bounce house, a cotton candy machine, funnel cakes, and much more! Last year, the party was a smash; we had over 25 kids for the Easter Egg Hunt. In May, we’ll have our Mother’s Day Brunch. So many of our Residents are mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers that we enjoy taking this time to invite our families into the Community to enjoy a buffet-style Sunday Brunch with all of our Residents to celebrate the mothers in our Community. Also at the end of May, we will be having our Construction Reveal Party and Resident Art Show. As many of you know, our Community has been a work-in-progress for quite some time. The east side of the building is beautifully remodeled and once the west side is complete, we will be inviting friends and family to come join us for a Resident Art Show to showcase the wonderful art work our Residents have created here or that they have created in the past and to let everyone enjoy the finished remodel.
